Children's Ministry Program
A fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in relationship with him. Bible Stories, Scripture memory, life application, missions, and recreation - connect to build life lessons in kids. Our children gather on Saturday afternoon at 3.00pm to connect with each other, share and learn about themselves, their faith and the world around them. The ministry advocates that all children are welcome and expected to be fully engaged in the ministries of the church.
ECUMC Christmas Gifts
ECUMC visited and donated Christmas gifts to the ‘Foyer Ecole des Enfants Aveugles Malvoyants,’ an institution run by an 84-years-old grandmother in Yaoundé. Grandma Hedwige Atangana is an inspirational woman; she takes care of 95 children/youths with little help. And what makes her more remarkable is that 90% of them are blind, autistic, deaf and physically disabled. At her age, you may be thinking, how can she possibly be running this centre? 45 out of the 95 children/youth live with her under same roof (deplorable and congested sleeping quarters). Grandma Hedwige gave us a detailed description of how she started the instituted way back in 1974. ECUMC spent the day with the children. We began with prayers and meditation given by Pastor Ebeneza Mosima. Then follow by Praise and Worship by Eyong Yollande.

Mission & Outreach
Ministry is the opportunity to put faith into action, and we believe that everyone should be involved in ministry. Many of our members find themselves engaged in ministry beyond the scope of the local church. Our ministries include a variety of worship, fellowship, educational, and service opportunities for all ages.

Back to school donations
Back-to-school can be scary for parents, but an exciting time for kids of all ages.
Ebenezer Community United Methodist Church, located at Eleveur organized a 'Back-to-School Party' at the end of this summer holidays and donated free school supplies to more than 60 children. This program is done every August before schools re-open.
UM Women Ministry
The ministry provides opportunities and resources for women to grow spiritually, become more deeply rooted in Christ and put faith into action. The ministry organized for growth, with flexible structures leading to effective witness and action. It carries out several community projects and outreach programs.
Young Peoples Ministry
The purpose of Young People’s Ministries is to empower young people as world-changing disciples of Jesus Christ, to nurture faith development, and equip young leaders. We are committed to the following goals.
His Plans for my today
Jeremiah 29: 11 contains a precious promise held dear by Christians the world over. It is also likely one of the most misapplied verses in all of Scripture. In this verse, Jeremiah affirms that God is in control, and moreover, He has good things in store: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Orphanage Outreach Project/ Handicape Centre
We have visited and donated clothes, shoes to several orphanages in Yaounde. These orphans occasionally receive donations from our church and individual church members. ECUMC has adopted this institution for their charity projects. We provide direct services, support, encouragement, and access to community resources and technical assistance.
