i) Sunday Service

​

We love you just as you are but want to help you grow into the person God wants you to be. You will not feel like an outsider at Ebenezer Community UMC. We gather on Sunday mornings to worship Jesus Christ who paid the debt we owe for sin, as we are all sinners in need of grace.

Our worship services will not only make sense but will inspire and encourage you.  We invite you to learn more about our Sunday morning activities which include praise & worship, music led by our praise team. It is a comfortable atmosphere to worship Christ.

ii) Sunday School

​

“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.’” Matthew 19:14

God loves all children, and we believe God calls us to love, protect, and nurture them.

Our Sunday school meets every Sunday from 9.00 am to 10.00 am. Children are spiritual beings, born with the essential knowledge of God’s presence and with the potential for spiritual experiences with God. Come and fellowship with us.  Bring your children, your friends, neighbors, and neighbor’s children.  All are welcome and the Word is shared in a way that makes sense to them, they can participate and ask questions.

iii) Weekly Bible Studies

​

Every Thursday as from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, the Christians gather at Ebenezer Community United Methodist Church (ECUMC) to study the Word of God. Our purpose is to develop mature God-Focused people. It's so important to feed our soul with the Word God! If you are not in a small Bible study group at least once a week, you are starving your soul and making it easy to be "a meal waiting to happen" for our spiritual enemy, the devil. In addition, you are not properly prepared to handle the various junk that this world will hand you. Every person at ECUMC hears regularly how important it is to start each day with the Word of God. It really sets the tone and gets spiritual food into your soul.

iv) Prayer Ministry

 

We believe in the power of prayer. God Hears Prayers.

 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7: 7-8)

God has done miraculous things for us, and He will do the same for you! If you have a request for prayer, we will be happy to pray for you and with you. You can also join us in Prayers every Tuesday from 5:30 pm at ECUMC located at Mballa, Eleveur.

 

v) Outreach Evangelism Program

Evangelism opens the door for healing to take place (Luke 10:9) It is the gateway for repentance and remission of sins (Lk. 24:47); it also brings an understanding of Scriptures unto humanity (Acts 8:30). True Evangelism causes the manifestation of the Holy Ghost (Acts 10:44)

We make disciples as we proclaim the gospel, seek, welcome and gather persons into the body of Christ. Every Wednesday as from 2.00 pm, we begin with prayers, then follows a door to door evangelism. The prayers get the team ready for the task ahead, as we invite the Holy Spirit to lead the way for soul-winning around the Mballa neighborhood and beyond. It is always a wonderful feeling and pleasure for our “Evangelism Team” to go out and win souls.

 

vi)  Bible A Month Project

​

We believe in the power of the Word of God, and we want to do whatever we can to help get Bibles in the hands of as many people, and do our part in building God’s great nation, Cameroon. This is our strategy to reach out to those in need. Almost 90% of the people we have evangelized don’t have a Bible. These new believers long for a Bible of their own but, for many, they have limited means. We donate bibles to those who don’t have.
